Pena Adobe and the Mowers-Goheen Museum, located next to the adobe, will open their doors to the public in February.

On the first Saturday of every month, the adobe and museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., free of charge.

Pena Adobe is one of the few pre-gold rush era structures remaining in the county.  The Mowers-Goheen Museum holds historic artifacts dating back to the early settlers and Native Americans of the region.
